United States Army Combined Arms Center
Based in Fort Leavenworth, the oldest active military operation west of the Mississippi River, CAC is the major subordinate headquarters of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, responsible for preparing the Army and its leaders for war. The Command and General Staff College is described, including its schools and centers, as well as the Combined Arms Research Library, which is a military science research center serving as the post library for the Fort Leavenworth community.
