In this day of computers, tablets and smart phones, the Bible hasn't been left behind. Most versions of the Bible are available electronically, for free or at a premium, along with the Apocrypha, the writings of the Early Church Fathers, and church creeds. A large variety of Bible study aids, such as study Bibles, Bible dictionaries, concordances, commentaries, lexicons, and other study aids are also available electronically. Intended for Bible scholars, Bible students and teachers, pastors, missionaries, and regular Christians. Rather than stocking hundreds of translations of the Bible on your library bookshelves, there is Bible software available, for free, that will allow you to compare Bible verses in the various translations. There are many very good Bible software packages, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Any one Christian might prefer one of the another for a variety of personal reasons, many of which do the same thing in different ways. The needs of regular Christians, Bible college students, church pastors, seminary professors, and Bible translators will be different in many ways. One person might simply want to be able to access different translations of the Bible from their tablet, with search functions available, while a church pastor might want to own a suite of tools that allow for personal Bible study, sermon preparation, and academic research, as well as illustrations and quotations, with the ability to generate sermon lines and fully editable handouts. There is a lot available. Some of it is costly, but a lot of it is free.
