Onalaska is a city in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. It borders the City of La Crosse directly to the north, and three unincorporated rural towns, one with the same name: Onalaska, Medary and Hamilton. The city is built on a slightly elevated ridge above the Black River, and includes a man-made reservoir at its western edge, known as Lake Onalaska.
