Established in 1903, Jackson is a small town located in the northeast corner of Burnett County, named in honor of General Stonewall Jackson. Initially, the town included what are now the towns of Scott and Webb Lake, but these towns were broken off in 1910, leaving Jackson with its current boundaries.
