The city of Delavan, in Walworth County, Wisconsin, is located partially within the Town of Delavan. In the second half of the 19th century, Delavan was home to 26 different circus companies. It is the hometown of Gary Burghoff, who played Radar O'Reilly in both the movie and the television series M*A*S*H.
