Utah's West Valley City is a suburb of Salt Lake City and is within the Salt Lake County. Before it was incorporated, it went be several names, including Chesterfield, Granger, Hunter, and Redwood. First settled by Mormon pioneer Joseph Harker, the area was later settled by those who followed him.
