Lone Star Flight Museum / Texas Aviation Hall of Fame
This museum is focused on the history of aviation in the State of Texas. The 28,000 square-foot, four-story structure was completed in 1895. W.L. Moody Jr. bought the home from the heirs of the original owners soon after the hurricane of 1900, living in it for more than eighty Christmas seasons. Today, tours are offered through its twenty rooms, and the building serves as a museum. Its exhibits and events are featured.
