Keystone Area Historical Center & Museum
The museum features a living history event centered around a Victorian schoolhouse built in 1900 in historic downtown Keystone, characters of interest in the history of the town, including Carrie Ingalls, the younger sister of author Laura Ingalls Wilder, who resided in Keystone for thirty-six years, as well as a walking tour of the town, information about the Rushmore carvers, and various historical artifacts.

President's Slide at Rushmore Tramway
At this Black Hills destination, guests ride the scenic chairlift up to the park area at its summit, where hay can view Mount Rushmore and find refreshments at its outdoor Grille. Guests may then either ride smoothly back to street level on the chairlift or take the alpine slide, which consists of two tracks, each 2,000 feet in length, in which guests descend at their own pace in a wheeled sled equipped with a brake.
