Situated in central Logan County, north of Guthrie, Mulhall, Oklahoma was named for Zack Mulhall, who established a ranch in the area in 1889. First known as Beaver Creek, then Alfred, the town was renamed Mulhall in 1890, shortly after Zack Mulhall became mayor.
