Luther, Oklahoma is a small town in northeastern Oklahoma County. Platted in 1898, the town was named for Luther Jones. The town is located along the Deep Fork River, and flooding was a common problem until the Arcadia Dam was built in 1987. The town was incorporated in 1905.
