Willard is a city in Huron County, Ohio. The community was founded as Chicago Junction in 1874, and incorporated under that name in 1882. Its name was changed to Willard in 1917, to honor Daniel Willard, the president of the B&O Railroad. Willard became a city in 1960. Willard is located just north of Celeryville, and south of the body of water known as Bass Lake.
