Union, Ohio is a city in northwestern Montgomery County, with a portion of the city extending into Miami County. The city is sometimes confused with West Union, which is the seat of Adams County, and lies eighty-eight miles southeast of Union. It may also be confused with Union City, which is actually a village in Darke County, bordering Union City, Indiana. Union was founded in 1816 by Daniel Razor and David Hoover.
