Twinsburg, Ohio is a city in Summit County. Its first settler was Ethan Alling, a sixteen year-old boy, who arrived in what was then known as Township Five in the Tenth Range of the Connecticut Land Company in 1817. The settlement was first known as Millsville. In 1819, Moses and Aaron Wilcox, a set of identical twins, arrived and began selling parcels of land for the land company, offering six acres of land for a public square if the residents would change the town’s name to Twinsburg.
