A suburb of Cincinnati and Dayton, Springboro, Ohio is in Clearcreek Township and Franklin Township in Warren County, and in Miami Township in Montgomery County. The area was settled in 1796, and founded in 1815 by Jonathan Wright. Initially, the spelling of the community’s name was Springborough, but was later shortened. In its early years, Springboro was primarily Quaker.
