Mount Healthy is a city in Hamilton County, Ohio. The community was founded in 1817 as the village of Mount Pleasant, renaming itself Mount Healthy in 1850 after a cholera epidemic, in which many of its citizens survived while those in neighboring areas did not. Mount Healthy was incorporated as a city in 1951.
