Minerva Park is a village in Franklin County, Ohio. Although the community was not incorporated until 1940, one of central Ohio’s most popular amusement parks was located there, on a small area on both the north and south side of the community’s large lake, which was opened to the public in 1895. In its prime, the park featured a large casino with an auditorium capable of seating 2,500 people. The park ceased operations in 1902.
