Founded in 1811, Lodi is the oldest settlement in Medina County, Ohio. The community was originally known as Harrisville, in honor of the family that founded it, but was renamed Lodi, for an Indian chief who lived nearby. Each July, Lodi hosts the annual Sweet Corn Festival.
