Kipton is a small village in Lorain County, Ohio. The community began as a stop along the Southern Division of the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad, which was abandoned in 1976. Originally, the settlement was known as Binghampton. Camden Township is headquartered in Kipton.
