Grove City, Ohio is in Franklin County. Founded in 1852, the history of Grove City goes back to land grants that were given to Revolutionary War veterans, General Daniel Morgan and Colonel William Washington. Its first settler was Hugh Grant, who set up a farm on a portion of the land near the beginning of the 18th century. Grove City incorporated as a village in 1866.
