In the 1800s, Golf Manor, Ohio consisted of farms and grazing lands, although at that time it was known simply as rural Columbia Township. When the village was laid out by developers in the 1920s, homes were mostly built on 150-foot plots with 35-50-foot frontages. Today, the Cincinnati suburb is nearly surrounded by the Pleasant Ridge and Roselawn neighborhoods of Cincinnati.
