Fairview Park is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. At various times, the community was part of Rockport Township, Rocky River, and Goldwood. When Goldwood was split, the northern part was incorporated as a village, which became known as Fairview Village. In 1948, Fairview Village became Fairview Park, which became a city in 1950. In 1967, Fairview Park annexed the neighboring village of Parkview.
