Clifton, Ohio is a village in both Clark and Greene counties. Many of the community’s first settlers were veterans of the American Revolution, who came with their families to settle on the land they were granted. The village is home to the Clifton Mill, one of the largest water powered grist mills still in existence, and which is the tallest structure in the Clifton. The village is situated at the head of the Clifton Gorge on the Little Miami River.
