Founded as a village in 1908, Bexley, Ohio was a result of a merger of Bullitt Park and the Lutheran community of Pleasant Ridge, and became a city in 1928. Bexley is an affluent suburban city in Franklin County, and a suburb of Columbus, the capital of Ohio. In fact, the Governor’s Mansion in northern Bexley, has been home to Ohio’s governors from 1957-2010, before Governor John Kasich chose to reside in Westerville.
