Bellbrook, Ohio is in Greene County. The community was settled in 1816, and named for Stephen Bell, who helped to plat what is now known as the old village area. The second part of the city’s name is in reference to the many local waterways, which include Sugar Creek, Little Sugar Creek, and the Little Miami River. The city grew through the annexation of areas within Sugarcreek Township, which is itself headquartered in Bellbrook.
