Spring Creek is an unincorporated town adjacent to Elko, to the northwest. Situated in Elko County, in northeastern Nevada, the town is surrounded by several Indian reservations, and located in a large valley between the Elko Hills to the northwest, and the Ruby Mountains to the southeast. The Huntington Valley and the South Fork of the Humboldt River are southwest, while the main branch of the Humboldt River is to the north. Lamoille is east of Elko. The area was developed in the 1970s as three large housing tracts, and it serves largely as a bedroom community of Elko. Passenger rail service is available from the nearby Elko Train Station, while air service is focused on the Elko Regional Airport.
