Cold Springs, Nevada is an unincorporated community in Washoe County, Nevada. Situated just off of US Route 395, at the California state line, residences in Cold Springs carry a Reno address. Over the protests of the majority of long-time residents, the Reno city council annexed several thousands of acres in the Cold Springs Valley in 2004, with the intentions of building residential complexes and an industrial park. Reno is west of Cold Springs, separated from it by Fallon and Fernley.
