Named for George W. Baker, an early settler, the unincorporated town of Baker is in White Pine County, Nevada. Situated at the junction of State Routes 487 and 488, Baker is east of the main entrance of Great Basin National Park. Baker is northwest of Garrison and southeast of Black Horse.
