San Simeon is an unincorporated community, located roughly midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, on the Pacific Coast of San Luis Obispo County. The settlement is known primarily for Hearst Castle, a mansion built by William Randolph Hearst in the early 20th century, and which is now a tourist attraction.
