Calistoga, is located in Napa County, California. Settled by an expedition led by Samuel Brannan which landed at Yerba Buena in 1846, he owned a railroad company which terminated in Calistoga. He was enamored of the natural hot springs in the area and bought more than 2,000 acres in order to develop a spa and resort there. It was incorporated in 1886.
