The MIA is an all-volunteer, non-profit public library established in 1998. It contains the writings of close to a thousand authors representing a full spectrum of political, philosophical, and scientific thought spanning a couple of centuries in more than eighty languages. In 2007, MIA terminated its original practice of dividing writers into Marxists and non-Marxists but offered an index of Selected Marxist Writers. The archive will accept any and all Marxist writings.
