Alfred Matthew Yankovic, who goes by the professional name "Weird Al," was born in Downey, California on October 23, 1959. He was raised in Lynwood, California and found his niche in song parodies. In 2004, both of his parents were discovered dead in their home, victims of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. He is married, and they have a daughter and a bunch of pets, including a dog and a cockatiel.
