Kate Winslet was born in Berkshire, England on October 5, 1975. The daughter of actors, she began to study drama at the age of 11. She had a long-term relationship with actor Stephen Tredre, who died of bone cancer just as "Titanic" opened, and Kate missed the premiere in order to attend his funeral. She married Jim Threapleton and then Sam Mendes, divorcing both before marrying Ned Rocknroll in 2012. She gave birth to her third child in December of 2013.
