Richard William Wheaton III, who is better known as Wil Wheaton, was born in Burbank, California on July 29, 1972. He is an actor and writer and perhaps most famous as Wesley Crusher on the television Series "Star Trek: The Next Generation." After 4 seasons on TNG, he moved to Topeka, Kansas, where he worked for a technology company helping to develop the Video Toaster 4000 and returned to Los Angeles, spending the next five years in acting school. He married Anne Prince in 1999, and he adopted one of her two sons when, at the age of 19, he asked Wil to do so. They live in Arcadia.
