George Orson Welles, better known as Orson Welles (May 6, 1915 - October 10, 1985) was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin. When he was four, his parents separated. His mother died from hepatitis in a Chicago hospital when he was 9, and his father died of alcoholism when Orson was 13. He was married three times, including once to Rita Hayworth, and had two additional long-term partners. He had four children. He died of a heart attack in Los Angeles.
