Billy Bob Thornton was born August 4 1955 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s. He has been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder and says he has a phobia of antique furniture as well as silverware. He married Melissa Gatlin in 1978. They had a daughter, Amanda, and were divorced in 1980. In 1986, he married Toni Lawrence, an actress. They separated in 1986 and divorced in 1987. He was married to actress Cinda Williams from 1990 to 1992. He married Pietra Dawn Cherniak, a Playboy model, in 1993. They had two sons, Harry James and William Thornton and were divorced in 1997 when she accused him of domestic violence. He married Angelina Jolie in 2000, and they were divorced in 2003. In 2003, he began a relationship with makeup artist Connie Angland, and the next year, they had a daughter, Bella. Despite his pledges to never marry again, they were married in 2014.
