Elizabeth Taylor was born February 27, 1932 in London, England. Though the lifelong actress was born in Britain, her parents were American citizens, and so she enjoyed dual citizenship. In 1939, her parents returned to the U.S., in order to avoid the coming war, and she spent the rest of her childhood in Los Angeles. She converted from Christian Science to Judaism at the age of 27. She was married 8 times to seven men and had four children. Liz died of congestive heart failure.
