Claudia Schiffer was born in Rheinberg, Germany on August 25, 1970. She was tall and gangly as a teenager and was self-conscious about the fact that she was nearly 6 feet tall in high school. Although she had planned to be an attorney like her father, she was discovered by a model agency at the age of 17 and became a supermodel. She has been married to her husband Matthew since 2002, and they have three children. They live in Suffolk, England.
