Born in Brooklyn on September 9, 1966, Adam Sandler is the progeny of Jewish immigrants from Russia. Before he started school, the Sandlers moved to Manchester, New Hampshire. He fist appeared on The Cosby Show in 1987, as Theo's friend Smitty, but he truly began his climb to fame on Saturday Night Live. His movies have garnered more than $2 billion dollars. He married Jacqueline Titone in 2003, and they have two children. They live in Los Angeles.
