Elvis Presley (January 8, 1935 - August 16, 1977) was a groundbreaking singer and musician as well as an actor. He is still referred to at "the King," more than 35 years after his death. He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and when he was 13, his family moved to Memphis. He was married once, to Priscilla Beaulieu, and they had one child, Lisa Marie. He died in Memphis of cardiac arrhythmia, with drug abuse implicated.
