The rock band Pink Floyd, which combined psychedelic and progressive music, was among the most commercially successful rock bands in the history of rock or pop music. They were formed in London in 1965, and they played and recorded music until 1994. In 2005, a reunion was arranged, and turned out to be successful. Another reunion has not been ruled out.
