Paul Newman (January 26, 1925 - September 26, 2008) was primarily known for his acting, though he was also a professional race car driver and owner of a racing team, an entrepreneur, and a humanitarian. He was a co-founder of Newman's Own, a natural food company which was set up to donate all profits to charities. He was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio. His grandparents had immigrated from Poland and Hungary. He was ordained a minister in the Universal Life Church, which ordination was earned online and was married twice, the second time to Joanne Woodward for more than 50 years, and had 6 children.
