Actress Lindsay Lohan was born in New York City on July 2, 1986. She grew up in what was by all accounts a dysfunctional home where her parents were married and separated a few times, then separated again in 2005 and were divorced. Her father claims his father was an alcoholic, and he himself admits to cocaine abuse and has left main cardiac disease which is thought to be a consequence of his cocaine use. Lindsay has had numerous run-ins with the law, most over her alcohol and drug abuse.
