Born in Cowes, Isle of Wight, England on September 19, 1948, actor Jeremy Irons has played in London productions of all ilks, including Shakespearean plays and Godspell before achieving international fame. He has two sons with his second wife, Irish actress Sinead Cusack. They live in a castle in County Cork and another residence in Dublin, and he supports the fight against AIDS, the Prison Phoenix Trust, and an alternative medicine lobby group called “The College of Medicine.”
