Actor Dennis Hopper (May 17, 1936 - May 29, 2010) was born in Dodge City, Kansas. His family moved to Kansas City, Missouri and then to San Diego, where Dennis attended high school. He appeared in his first two films, "Rebel Without a Cause" and "Giant," with James Dean in 1955 and '56 respectively. He was named as "one of Hollywood's most notorious drug addicts" for 20 years and was married to 5 different women. He died of metastasized prostate cancer, in Venice, California.
