Audrey Faith Perry, known professionally as Faith Hill, was born on September 21, 1967 in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She was adopted when she was still an infant and was raised about 25 miles from Jackson. Raised a Baptist, she was singing by the time she was a teen in nearby churches of all denominations. In 1988, she married Daniel Hill, a music publishing executive, and they divorced in 1994.In 1996, she was engaged to marry her former producer when she went on tour with singer Tim McGraw, who had recently gone through the breakup of an engagement. They began an affair, and were married in 1996 and now have three daughters and live in Tennessee.
