Robert Frederick Zenon Geldof, known professionally as Bob Geldof, was born on October 5, 1951 in County Dublin, Ireland. He is a singer and member of the Boomtown Rats but is more widely known for his political activism, particularly with charity for the poor in Africa, and he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth. He married his longtime girlfriend, Paula Yates, and they had three children together, Fifi Trixibelle, Peaches Honeyblossom, and Little Pixie. They divorced in 1996, and Paula had another daughter, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily (who goes by “Tiger”). After Paula died of an overdose in 2000, Bob became Tiger’s guardian and raised her. He lives in South London with his life’s partner and Tiger.
