Tina Fey, born near Philadelphia in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania on May 18, 1970, was an honors student in high school and went on to study acting and playwriting at the University of Virginia. She was on Saturday Night Live from 1997 to 2006, and she went on to write numerous comedies, including the television series "30 Rock." Active in the charity Autism Speaks, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, she is married to Jeff Richmond, a musician, and they were married in a Greek Orthodox ceremony in 2001. They have two children and live on the Upper West Side in New York City.
