On July 16, 1967, John William Ferrel was born in Irvine, California. He would grow up to be known as Will Ferrell. His mother was a teacher and his father was a musician with The Righteous Brothers., and they were both from Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. He moved to Los Angeles and auditioned for a comedy group, which was successful, and he developed his improvisational gifts with the group. He was with Saturday Night Live for seven years and then went on to make movies. He married Viveca Paulin, a Swedish actress and they live with their three sons in their homes in New York City and Orange County.
