Hilary Duff was born in Houston, Texas on September 28, 1987. She grew up in both San Antonio and Houston, where her father co-owned convenience stores. She became a teen idol when she was cast in Disney’s Lizzie McGuire in the television show of the same name. Hilary is married to National Hockey League player Mike Comrie, and they were married in 2010 in Santa Barbara, California. They had a son, Luca Cruz Comrie, in March of 2012. In February 2015, she filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.
