Micky Dolenz, whose real name is George Michael Dolenz, Jr., was born in Los Angeles, California in 1945 and though he had been in numerous television shows before 1965, he is best known as one of The Monkees, a made-for-TV musical band. The Monkees, and hence, Micky, have remained in the public eye thanks to both syndication in the 1970s and MTV in the 1980s. He has been married three times and is the father of four children, all girls. He still lives in California.
